CAITLIN EVANS
DANCER, ACTOR, SINGER, HUMAN
Caitlin Evans (she/her) is a performing artist based in New York City. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she graduated cum laude with her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. She has trained in a wide variety of dance styles and prides herself on being a chameleon across genres.
Caitlin has been a member of Actors Equity since 2015. She has performed regionally across the country at Ogunquit Playhouse, The Gateway Playhouse, Arizona Broadway Theatre, Allenberry Playhouse, and The Legacy Theatre, among others.
In NYC she has performed in multiple facets, including contemporary jazz with Julia Kane Dance Collective, burlesque with The Cabaret Burlesque, classic theatre rep with Crystal Chapman's NY Theatre Dance Ensemble... and even a few stand-up sets at The Comedy Cellar.
On the other side of the table, Caitlin has a passion for teaching. She has guest taught tap classes of all levels at both Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, and is available for private coaching in tap, jazz, and college audition prep. She has choreographed more than a dozen shows for youth theatre programs (including the Forestburgh Academy, Helen Hayes Youth Theatre, and Actors Professional Theatre Conservatory). Choreography & teaching resume is available upon request.
She loves the smell of old books, rainy weather (the Seattle never really leaves you) and befriending your cat at a party.
